Set of six Italian fruit wall plates
A fine and striking set of six beautiful Italian plates featuring fruit. Attractive scalloped edges with a thin striped pattern applied all the way around. In perfect condition, brightly glazed, they are all signed at the bottom ‘GBV Nove’: they come from Nove di Bassano (a very renowned centre of Italian faience) and specifically the workshop of Giovanni Battista Viero. They are from the late 1800s- early 1900s.
