Pair of 1970s Swedish brass candlesticks
We are quite partial to brass candlesticks and these are a great vintage pair.
They are Swedish, made by Gusum Bruk, a foundry that was set up in the late 1600s in Sweden specialising in brass production of candlesticks and chandeliers but also cannons and pins. They are heavy, solid brass, signed Bernt Karlsson and dated 1977. A bit of a collectors’ item and we love their unusual shape.
