Midcentury Swedish vase
This fab yellow vase is the work of Swedish designer Greta Runeborg (1911-1989). She is one of the well-known representatives of the illustrious Swedish ceramic design of the 20th century and one of the leading designers for the Upsala-Ekeby factory in the 1930s and 1940s. Runeborg is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
The vase has attractive wavy handles, and a beautiful round shape. 24cm wide (including the handles) and 13 cm tall.
