19th century French faience bowl with handles
French fainence bowl with delicate hand painted floral decoration. It would make a fabulous bowl for bulbs or a centrepiece for a flower arrangement with flower frogs in the base or some bunched up chicken wire for support.
Signed by the artist on the base, next to the St Clement (set up in 1758, near Luneville) mark. This is likely from the latter part of the 19th century.
There is a historical repair to a crack, see the last photograph.
26cm diameter, 33cm across handles, 10cm high.
