It is the work of Swedish artist Johan Johansson (1879-1951), whose work can be found in the Moderna Museet of Sweden and the National Museum of Norway (he also exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1942). He was a well known Swedish Modernist originally inspired by German Impressionists.
