A pair of fine Italian faience plates featuring what looks to be quince and oranges. Beautiful shaped edges with a thin striped pattern applied all the way around. Signed ‘GBV Nove Italy’, these are from the renowned Nove ceramics manufacture founded by Giovanni Battista Viero (GBV) in the mid 1800s. These gorgeous pair is in excellent condition and from the late 19th / early 20th century.
